Winter Solstice Celebration

Join us Thursday, December 19 for a super fun and myco-centric Winter Solstice celebration at Mushroom Mountain! Our celebration will be led by Justin the Elf, along with other Mushroom Mountain staff and will feature winter-themed refreshments, activities and a presentation about the mysterious lore of the Amanita Muscaria mushroom and how it has influenced celebrations all over the globe for centuries. Warning to parents: Santa Claus and mysterious, esoteric origin story will be discussed in this presentation. Hint: Santa is a mushroom!

We will be making mushroom pizzas in our mushroom pizza oven!

We will offer a warming fire (weather permitting), Yule-tide and mushroomy snacks, mushroom painting activities and a Yule Log celebration. 

For your comfort, bring blankets and chairs to sit in and get bundled up, this celebration will be held outside unless it is raining. 

This event is limited to 40 people.
