Spring Mushroom Cultivation Workshop - 3/21/26

Grow your own mushrooms and discover the magic beneath your feet!

This immersive, hands-on workshop explores the world of fungi and practical mushroom cultivation techniques.

You’ll learn about fungal ecology and life cycles, and gain hands-on experience cultivating mushrooms on logs, stumps, wood chips, straw and other agricultural byproducts. Together, we’ll design mushroom gardens, explore composting and recycling with fungi, and tour the working Mushroom Mountain farm — including our lab, colonization and fruiting rooms, and the woodland mushroom trail, where you’ll see a variety of mushrooms fruiting in their natural habitats.

🧑🏫 Taught by the Mushroom Mountain team — passionate educators with decades of experience cultivating, teaching, and spreading the fungal gospel.

Please note: This workshop focuses on outdoor cultivation and does not cover sterile culture techniques in a lab setting.
