Join us for a special summer edition of our Mushroom Mountain Farm Tour — Fungi and Fireflies! Experience the lush, vibrant energy of midsummer as we explore how mushrooms thrive in the heat, how they connect life underground, and why fungi and insects share such a mysterious relationship in nature.

During this 90-minute guided tour, you’ll:

• Learn how mushrooms grow and fruit in warm, humid weather
• Watch a log inoculation demonstration and learn how to grow your own
• Walk our shaded woodland mushroom trail, surrounded by glowing life and buzzing summer sounds
• Discover how fungi, insects, and plants all weave into one living ecosystem

This family-friendly experience is perfect for gardeners, nature lovers, and anyone who wants to soak in a little summer forest magic.

Before You Come:

• Please wear closed-toed shoes — the trail can be soft or damp in summer.
• Bring water, a hat, and bug spray.
• Dress for the weather; tours continue rain or shine (we skip the outdoor portion only in heavy rain).
• Service animals are welcome; pets are not.
• Feel free to pack a picnic and linger after the tour in our shaded outdoor area.
