Grow Mushrooms. Grow Soil. Grow Life.
Plant it. Water it. Watch it grow.
The Bricktop MycoGarden Fruiting Kit brings vibrant orange life to your garden—both above and below the soil. Simply bury the block, water well, and within just a few weeks, stunning clusters of Bricktop mushrooms will emerge, adding a splash of color and a savory aroma to your fall landscape.
An edible species Hypholoma lateritium, this mushroom is very aggressive and prolific, sometimes evicting other mushrooms out of their patches to set up camp in the wild. I have seen Brick Tops take over our mulch walking trail turning it into a orange-reddish carpet with wall to wall mushrooms in the winter, such a heavy fruiter! This mushroom is a little on the difficult side to ID, so make sure you can distinguish between it and the Sulfur Tuft before eating and send us some photos to confirm!
Beneath the surface, the mycelium is building a thriving ecosystem—breaking down mulch, feeding soil organisms, and enriching the ground with nutrients your plants will love. Hardy and productive, Bricktop mushrooms are ideal for cool-weather gardens and eager beginners alike.
Bright, bold, and bursting with life—Bricktop turns soil into a living work of art.
