Delicate, Smoky, Wild Mushroom Flavor
Black Trumpet mushrooms (Craterellus spp.) may not look flashy, but their flavor is anything but ordinary.
These delicate wild mushrooms are prized by chefs for their deep, earthy flavor, smoky aroma, and subtle fruity notes. Sometimes called the โpoor man's truffle,โ Black Trumpets bring an elegant woodland richness to dishes without overpowering the other ingredients.
Drying concentrates their distinctive aroma, making them an incredible pantry ingredient for pasta, risotto, eggs, sauces, soups, seafood, vegetables, and cream-based dishes.
