Super fast shipping, very detailed instructions. Shiitake logs can be hit-or-miss, and I guess for me, it just missed; even when I did everything right, it doesn't always work out.

Emailed the company and awaiting a response(EDIT: response time was SO FAST and super professional!). I have faith they'll make this right though; the lengths they went as far as packaging and instructions makes me feel that they genuinely want their customers to succeed, compared to less reputable companies. Maybe the shiitake log failed, but their other cultures will be more robust for my area.

Edit: Updated to 4 stars from 2, because while the log itself failed me, this company is amazing. Gave me additional instructions past what was given to try and save my log, and when all else failed, offered to send me plug spawn I had mentioned some interest in. You can't go wrong with these guys. I'm so glad I purchased from Mushroom Mountain, and not off Amazon or somewhere impersonal. 100% will buy again.
