Join us Thursday, December 21 for a super fun and myco-centric Winter Solstice celebration at Mushroom Mountain! Our celebration will be led by Lizza the Elf, along with other Mushroom Mountain staff and will feature winter-themed refreshments, activities and a presentation about the mysterious lore of the Amanita Muscaria mushroom and how it has influenced celebrations all over the globe for centuries. Warning to parents: Santa Claus and mysterious, esoteric origin story will be discussed in this presentation. Hint: Santa is a mushroom!
Bring your own pizza to cook in our mushroom-pizza oven!
We will offer a warming fire (weather permitting), Yule-tide and mushroomy snacks, mushroom painting activities and a Yule Log celebration.
For your comfort, bring blankets and chairs to sit in and get bundled up, this celebration will be held outside unless it is raining.
